We were given the opportunity to cater for an event hosted at Otupae Station. Many thanks to Gary and Mary Mead for the chance to fund raise and to the community for the amazing baking (the home made bread was a definite hit), pies and hot soup.

We went to Tangiwai. We learnt about lahars. We had to make sediment and put it on a wooden board to see if it would run down like a lahar. The teacher that was teaching us about the lahar was called Marlene.

Today we farewelled Zara, Lily and Henry. They are off to experience new adventures in the bay. We will miss you.

Bringing home the trophy for the millionth time!

At the Ironkidz triathlon Isla and I won the 1st prize for Pukeokahu.
First Chrissie and Paula were here for the first music lesson of the year – making drum sticks.



This was followed by a strawberry jam making session – jam for school camp sorted.
