Our school camp is this month. The first night the class is making dinner and we want to have delicious nachos, so we have made sure we are prepared by making the nacho sauce at school.

We were all excited to start.

Step one – put oil in a frying pan and brown the mince.

Step two – add chopped onions and garlic and cook for a few minutes.

Step three – next add tomato paste and let it cook.

Step four – after that add canned tomatoes, water, bay leaves, Italian herbs and sugar.

Step five – cover the pan and let it simmer until it is cooked, stirring occasionally.

Step six – Once it is cooked take out the bay leaves and scoop the sauce into a container. When it is cold, put it in the freezer ready for exciting school camp.
